The Summer of Second Chances is now out there in the world. What a week it has been. Thanks are firstly due to my wonderful husband Brian who never doubted me and was always supportive and encouraging. Friends and family and even random strangers have been buying Summer of Second Chances, tweeting about it, retweeting it, sharing it and sending good luck messages. My son and daughter-in-law organised a surprise tea party (where tea was replaced with Prosecco) and lovely friends Jane and Tony came to enjoy the excitement with me. And people have been sending gifts too, a lovely hand painted cushion, gorgeous chocolates and so many lovely flowers. The kindness is staggering and I’ve been in tears more than once! In a good way! But of course the big thing was the wait for the first review. Would readers like it? Well they did, I’ve had some fantastic reviews from bloggers and readers all over the world. Readers who don’t know me and aren’t even on the same continent are enjoying reading about Lottie’s struggle to re-build her life. The feeling is wonderful. Thank you
